This is the good news of the week for fans of the little pink ball, Kirby’s Dream Buffet is arriving on Switch in a couple of days. And it costs next to nothing!
During a concert celebrating the Little Pink Ball’s 30th anniversary, which seems to be well-received by fans and non-fans alike, Nintendo announced the release of Kirby’s Dream Buffet.
Kirby’s Dream Buffet coming to Nintendo Switch on August 17th
Hardly announced and (almost) already available. Kirby’s Dream Buffet will be available on the Nintendo Switch eShop from August 17, 2022. The prize is just as cute as the little pink ball: $14.99.
This opus stands out from its predecessors, including Kirby and the Forgotten World, as it is purely multiplayer software. In total, four players can compete in different events with Fall Guys fake air, where in particular it will be necessary to eat. It’s still Kirby!
There are three types of events during a game, starting with a “race”. You have to dash down the track, gobble strawberries to grow and thus push your opponents easier. All shots are allowed! Incidentally, you can also include power snacks with different properties.
- Tornado: to suck up the strawberries around you
- Jelly: walk through walls
- Super jump: jump in the air and advance
After the race it’s time for the “mini-games” which are still about eating as many strawberries as possible but within a given time. Eventually you’ll end up in an each for himself where your ultimate goal is to knock your opponents out of the level to steal their loot. Of course, there is a system of rewards and unlockable costumes featured in the video above.
