What kind of movie will Joker 2 be?
The planned DC sequel is subtitled Folie A Deux (in Europe something like Mental disorder in couple
) and will again written by director Todd Phillips and staged. Joker 2 is supposed to be a musical or at least focus more on musical elements. It’s only fitting that singer Lady Gaga reportedly starred as Harley Quinn – the Joker better

When does Joker 2 hit theaters?
Joker: Folie a Deux sol Deadline according to am 4. October 2024 start in cinemas. There are currently no details on the current production plans or when exactly filming is to start.
Just as little as how much Budget Joker 2 gets donated. The first part was produced with a relatively manageable cash cushion of around 60 million US dollars and grossed over a billion worldwide – making it the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time. Joker was nominated for a total of eleven Oscars, Joaquin Phoenix took home the award for best actor.

What is the Joker 2 story about?
Details on the story of Joker: Folie A Deux are currently few and far between. As already mentioned, the film is supposed to be a kind of musical, which should take the dance moments of the first Joker to the next level. Also, we know thanks TheWrapthat Joker 2 will take place almost exclusively in Gotham City’s mental asylum: Arkham Asylum.
So it can be concluded that Folie A Deux follows more or less directly from the end of the first part: Arthur Fleck ended up in custody after the murder of presenter Murray Franklin (Robert De Niro) and it is strongly implied that he is his therapist in Arkham Murdered Asylum.
Since Lady Gaga is s upposed to appear as Harley Quinn, Joker 2 could take up the story known from Batman: The Animated Series or the DC Comics: The psychiatrist Harleen Quinzel is seduced and corrupted by the Joker, blossoms into a villain and helps him escape. But this is mere speculation.

Which cast members appear in Joker 2?
So far we only know that Joaquin Phoenix als Arthur Fleck occurs and the HollywoodReporter Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn should occur. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has even personally confirmed her appearance in Joker 2.
Quite fittingly, the artist has BossLogic dug out an old poster which, according to his own statement, he made years ago as a parody of the musical La La Land:
