Amazon Exclusive content for this shipment in France, the documentation Control Britney Spears looks back on the American star’s chaotic journey. Realized by Samantha Stark, this program follows Farming Britney Spears, the documentary film dedicated to the rise of the singer. Encounter – December 10th
With the film, Amazon Prime Video offers us a new level of exclusivity To encounterin which the actress Octavia Spencer (Superintelligence, Thunder Force) and actor Ahmed Reis (Venom, Sound of Metal), in a fantasy thriller directed and co-written by Michael Pearce and Joe Barton, the screenwriter of The Ritual, who also wrote the story of Cloverfield 4. The actor duo at the head of the film Encounter in particular gives the answer Janina Gavankar (Vampire Diaries, The Way Back), Rory Cochrane (The Chicago Seven, Hungry), young Lucian River Chauhan (Gabby Duran, alien babysitter) and Aditya Geddada, as well as Misha Collins, the actor who starred in the cast of the series Supernatural, also appears in Stonehenge Apocalypse. This immersion in the couple’s romantic and professional relationship allows us to discover the making of the sitcom I Love Lucy, a hugely popular television series in the 1950s in the United States that aired in France a few decades later. Being The Ricardos invites us during a particularly intense time on several film sets and behind the scenes of the production, along with the protagonists in the turmoil, that of Nicole Kidman (Aquaman, The Prom) and the Spanish actor Javier Bardem (The Roads Not Taken , Dune).
Paddington – December 23
As the year-end vacation approaches, Prime Video is offering to watch or review Paddington, the film directed by Paul King Mixing animation and comedy. Family content par excellence, this feature film invites us to follow an explorer of the 1960s who discovers a new species of brown bear in a Peruvian forest. A friendship develops between the man and a pair of these bears, which he baptizes Pastuzo and Lucy. Years have passed and while the bear duo lives happily next to their nephew, an earthquake turns their lives upside down and leads the little bear to board a freighter for London. The cub then arrives at Paddington Station and is greeted by the Brown family, who eventually name it after the place it got off the train. However, the bear cub and the Browns’ daily lives are disrupted by a poacher named Millicent Clyde who has his sights set on Paddington. We find the actresses particularly in the cast of the film Nicole Kidman
