Think what you will of Fallout, but the games have their own distinctive style that, in some ways, still makes them unique today. Therefore, the photos of a film set now published by a private individual are clearly the upcoming Fallout series from Amazon to assign.
What makes Fallout even more special and great, we talk about in the anniversary podcast with Heiko, Micha and André:

What do the pictures show?
Anyone who has played Fallout 4 will probably remember the Red Rocket gas station where you first meet the faithful four-legged friend Dogmeat. Here’s a picture from the game:
Exactly such a gas station is apparently replicated for the series, with an impressive level of detail. Not only was the general style of Red Rocket mimicked, but the lettering, gas pumps, and tapered roof pretty much match what we see in-game. Only the big rocket on the roof is currently missing. Since the set is obviously still under construction, she could still show up.
If you look closely, you will also discover other realistic details in the pictures, such as a Nuka-Cola vending machine, a milk vending machine and a device for repairing power armor (in yellow). on more pictures You can also see that the gas station’s windows have various advertising posters that game fans should also be familiar with. No big surprise
While the tweets have garnered little attention so far, the photos come from the set at Reddit pretty well, garnering over 2,000 upvotes. There are also positive comments in the comments, but the complex set is probably not a big surprise for many.
Because it’s not the first time that we’ve seen pictures of elaborately designed sets. Already last year there were pictures of a vault, a super duper mart and a power armor that were also very similar to the game template.
What do we know about the series?

Fallout: Amazon gives a behind-the-scenes look at the TV series in a new video
The series will be produced for Amazon Prime Video and will be the main writers Jonathan Nolan (Westworld, The Dark Knight, Interstellar) und Lisa Joy (Westworld). As an executive producer is also Todd Howard directly involved in the production by Bethesda Game Studios. The cast includes, among others Walton Goggins (Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight), Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets) und Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks).
In the meantime there is even some official material about the series. In the video above, lead author Nolan talks about the project while being handed a Nuka Cola. In addition, Amazon has already presented a first picture of the series that shows the previously unknown Vault 33:

So far, however, almost nothing is known about the story that you want to tell in the Fallout universe. The fact that completely new locations, such as the aforementioned vault, play a role suggests that you want to stay away from the events of the games. A release date is also still a long way off.
What do you think of the images of the Fallout series? Do you like the sets and do you have any hope that the Amazon and Bethesda project will be a success? Or are you rather skeptical as to whether the strengths of the games can also come into play in the series format? Feel free to write it in the comments!
