The new Battlefield 2042 will appear in a few days and in advance DICE will provide a general overview of everything that awaits you in a blog entry. That also applies to the post-launch plans for the shooter.
DICE and EA have on the official website one final battlefield briefing released before the official launch of the new shooter on November 19th. The specialists, the setting and the system requirements are discussed again. Incidentally, one is also devoting oneself to the plans of how things will continue after the release of the main game and what you can expect in this regard.
In the first year of content after the release next week, there should be a total of four seasons – one per quarter. As part of the comprehensive live service of Battlefield 2042, not only new content is added, but rather the season model is based on numerous other successful titles.
Each season should bring a Battle Pass with it, through which you can then unlock content. There will also be a total of four new specialists, new locations and additional content. There will also be regular updates for the Battlefield Portal to give you even more options to create new Battlefield experiences and share them with the world.
Season 1 will therefore bring a new specialist, Battle Pass and portal content with it very soon after the release. Further details should follow at the beginning of next year.
The main game starts at least the preseason with weekly missions and rewards, time-limited modes, creator spotlights, other experiences in the Battlefield Portal and more.
