The big information of Dragon Age 4 tonight has been revealed and it will probably disappoint people. No trailer but all the same main information.
Thank you Tom Henderson. The insider earlier today announced a big announcement for Dragon Age 4 that just came out. Nothing out of the ordinary in sight, because BioWare reveals above all (finally) the official name of the game and a logo.
Dragon Age 4 becomes Dragon Age: Dreadwolf
If you were excited about today’s announcement like we were, I’m sorry. No trailer, teaser or even little concept art to make our mouths water. Instead, BioWare reveals crucial information surrounding the fourth work: its name. Don’t say Dragon Age 4 anymore (but we’ll do it anyway because of Google), say Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. A title that refers to the relentless wolf, whose name we’re hiding for the moment for those who haven’t done Dragon Age Inquisition yet.
In any case, this name conjures up a divisive deity. Seen as a traitor by his people or a savior by others, the relentless Implacable Wolf will do anything to save his people, even destroy the world. BioWare assures that those who start the saga with Dragon Age 4…sorry, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, will not be lost.
News this year, certainly at the Game Awards
Don’t worry about not knowing your antagonist yet. It will be introduced in due form in due course. But we teased her 2018 comeback when we announced 2018’s #TheDreadWolfRises.
For the old hands, BioWare gives us an appointment for new information later in the year. Given the studio’s communication, the game should be discussed again at the Game Awards 2022. Dragon Age: Dreadwolf was actually announced at the 2018 conference before briefly returning with a trailer in 2020. As it became known, the teams confirm that the game will not be released this year. According to several reliable sources, EA would aim for a release by the end of 2023. In the meantime, we suspect BioWare will be distilling information here and there on its blog.
