The game streaming service Stadia did not necessarily have the best start, but the growing line-up of current titles is slowly turning the tide for Google. A new message about the recently launched Borderlands 3 is not really right.

Only this week, the game streaming service Google Stadia received triple growth on the game front, whereby the currently successful Borderlands 3 is surely the most important new title for the players. But now it turns out: On Stadia you will by no means get the latest version of the loot shooter.
As developers Gearbox confirmed on the official website, gamers on Stadia are offered an almost two-month-old version of Borderlands 3. The latest bug fixes and features are far from being available from the game streaming service.
Specifically, the Stadia version of the game is based on the build from October 24th. Compared to the versions for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, there is no Mayhem 4 level of difficulty or better loot pools for boss opponents, to name just two examples.
Why it is like that? Gearbox does not comment specifically on this. Regarding the topic, one can only say: "We plan to be on the same level on all platforms with Borderlands 3 in early 2020, but at the moment the version of the game you are playing on Stadia is benefiting from the updates and bug fixes that last until 24 Noteworthy features that will soon be included in the Stadia version of Borderlands 3 include endgame content such as elimination in the Maliwan secret system and Chaos Mode 4, special loot pools for bosses and additional space in the bank."
For Google, this fact should not be rosy from a purely advertising standpoint, because who wants to play a current game with an outdated version?
