Borderlands 4 and GTA 6 are two big titles that await us in the bellows and both come from Take-Two, mother company of 2K and rock star. One of the two now has a fixed appointment.
If a publisher wants to publish two large games in one year, he will probably try to avoid any overlaps. With the announcement that Take-Two wants to publish the new GTA with the Rockstar label this autumn, an appointment for the Borderland 4, which was also planned for this year, seemed a little questionable. After all, also a take-two title under the 2K label.
Now 2K and Gearbox software have given your new shooter baby an appointment. On September 23, Borderlands 4 should now be released for PC (Steam and Epic Games), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S and thus mix the autumn properly. This allows the assumption that GTA 6 should appear a little later, we tap November. Because it seems unlikely that Borderlands 4 will be torpedoed in favor of GTA 6. After all, Borderlands with a total of 87 million games sold is not exactly a small brand.
Together with the announcement, there was a new trailer that is supposed to offer a small foretaste of the game and at the same time makes it clear that a typical loot shooter of the series awaits us. However, it should also be the most ambitious part of the series and offer some innovations, including new movement skills such as gliding, dodging, double jumps or gripping hooks at predetermined points. So it seems that the shooter experience should become a little more agile.
It is also clear that you will be traveling with four new champions to compete against the time monitor, with three solo or in the co -op. Further information is to follow in spring, because 2K has promised a first presentation of the gameplay for the period.
