After names from the cast list were in the foreground in the last few weeks, there is now good news regarding the Borderlands film adaptation – and a photo of Claptrap himself.
The Borderlands film adaptation by Eli Roth has reached an important milestone, as a photo by Claptrap confirms. The shooting is finally over, which means that the post-production is going full steam ahead. The claptrap actually looks pretty convincing:
The film revolves around Lilith’s reluctant return to Pandora, where she goes in search of the missing daughter of Atlas. Since Pandora is a rather uncomfortable place, Lilith teams up with some more or less well-known characters to put an end to nasty villains. The cast list not only includes well-known names from the players, but also a series of well-known actors:
- Ariana Greenblatt – Tiny Tina
- Benjamin Byron Davis – Marcus
- Cate Blanchett – Lilith
- Charles Babalola – Hammerlock
- Cheyenne Jackson – Jakobs
- Édgar Ramirez – Atlas
- Gina Gershon – Moxxi
- Jack Black – Claptrap
- Jamie Lee Curtis – Tannis
- Janina Gavankar – Commander Knoxx
- Florian Munteanu – War
- Kevin Hart – Roland
- Steven Boyer – Scooter
- Ryann Redmond – Ellie
A release date for the film is not yet known.
