Notice: Echo ending spoilers
Marvel Studios continues to advance little by little in one of the most anticipated projects of the franchise: Daredevil: Born Again. After a forced break due to the strike of actors and writers, and after a creative reboot, the series starring Charlie Cox returns stronger than ever, highlighting a fundamental character: Kingpin.
At the end of the series Echoit is revealed that Wilson Fisk is considering running for mayor of New York, a development that has already been explored in one of Marvel’s most iconic comics, Secret Empire. Now, one filtration in photo form confirms that the next Disney series will address the Kingpin’s fight to take control of the Big Apple city hall.
Fisk’s strategy to earn the respect of the inhabitants of New York in this story is apparently simple: help the citizens from closeness and respect, thus gaining popularity and affection. With some tricks involved, he seeks to become mayor.
This approach, much like in the comics, suggests that Matt Murdock could come up with a plan to keep Kingpin around, possibly becoming deputy mayor and trying to control the King of Crime. Daredevil: Born Again
