Geoff Keighley also had a detailed trailer for the next CoD spin-off on his Opening Night Live. It presented a mission from the campaign in more detail.
The Black Ops saga continues on October 25th – that much was already clear before the Gamescom Opening Night Live. However, there have only been a few gameplay scenes from the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to date. That should change with the show: A nearly seven-minute-long trailer presented a mission from the campaign in more detail.
The mission “Most Wanted” sends you to the US capital Washington in 1991. Your mission is to perform a retina scan on a senator and use it to gain access to a secure facility. The various ways in which you can accomplish this are shown in the compilation. You can act loudly, quietly or deviously, for example by blackmailing people.

Inside the facility, you finally free Russell Adler and try to escape with him. Again, you are free to do this in a brutal or calm way – the trailer, unsurprisingly, favors the Rambo method. A few gadgets are also used, including the explosive remote-controlled car and an electrically charged throwing knife, the shocks of which incapacitate several enemies at once. The trailer ends with a breakneck chase on motorcycles, which also doesn’t come without a lot of shooting.
Graphically, the game makes a good impression. Believable faces and animations, stylish light and smoke effects and partially destructible environments raise hopes of a visually appealing first-person experience. The various options and ways of completing the mission are also appealing.
The upcoming multiplayer beta will provide a first playable impression of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Those who pre-order can play it from August 30th to September 4th. The open beta will run from September 6th to September 9th.
