In the coming week, Season 5 in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone will start. The timetable has now been published in advance, detailing what you can expect.
The focus of the new season 5 is on a lot of new content, above all a new game mode. In multiplayer, you can look forward to the new double agent mode, which is supposed to provide an investigative multiplayer experience. In each game, a double agent is determined who can sabotage the mission. You must investigate to expose the traitor and win.
In the lobby of the mode it starts with up to ten players who are assigned to three roles:
- Double agentswho must either eliminate everyone else or successfully place explosive charges on the map.
- The investigatorwho can investigate leads and turn suspicious double agents into wanted criminals.
- agentswho must work together to identify and eliminate duplicate agents before it’s too late.
Each player starts with a pistol. Weapons and equipment are introduced in the prep phase, where all players can grab weapons in different areas of the map. In addition, each role grants access to unique skills. Double agents, for example, can use gas mines, counterintelligence aircraft, battle arcs and more.
In addition to the game mode, you can expect a lot more content, including a new gulag for Warzone, new maps, new guns and various zombies updates. In multiplayer, the demolition squad will return in the course of the season, with Echelon, Slums, Showroom, Drive-In and Zoo, there are five new maps.
The new clash mode awaits in Warzone, in which quad squads compete against each other in deathmatch style. Zombies has a new region called Collateral and a new game mode called Transport.
