Gaming News Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: The multiplayer mode and the beta are clarified, finally dates
Little by little, the excitement surrounding Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is rising: eyes are now on the multiplayer mode, which if it hasn’t already been revealed in broad daylight, is finally starting to communicate.

As every year, Activision begins to give strong support to the communication campaign surrounding the new Call of Duty. This year’s vintage will therefore be Warfare 2, as you have surely seen, and the excitement is really there: it must be said that it will be the sequel to the first Modern Warfare, which was excellently received, It’s also a reimagining of the original (and iconic) game from 2009.
After having therefore given a small preview of his single-player campaign, it is now the multiplayer that is the main concern: the good news is that the American publisher has finally decided to do it the date of unveiling, therefore set at September 15. We then need to delve more clearly into the game modes, maps, killstreaks and other main elements.

As tradition has requested for some time, this installment will also be approached with multiple open betas. However, there are a few specifications to consider: the first thing to knowis that the first sessions are organized and intended only for those who have pre-ordered the game. PlayStation players will also be prioritized with a beta over everyone else on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. It will be the same with the Open Beta.

- 22-23 September: Early Access on Xbox and PC / Open Beta on PlayStation
- September 24th to 26th: Open beta on all platforms
Also note that there will be crossplay to play with players from other platforms. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled for release October 28, 2022 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
