Infinity Ward has added some new playlists to "Modern Warfare" for players seeking various options this week.
As we expected, every week Call of Duty: Modern War A new playlist update has been received that refreshes the main mode list. These playlist updates are server-side, so you don't have to worry about downloading.
This week's update adds the 1v1 version of the popular Shootout mode. The traditional 2v2 shootout still exists, but is no longer highlighted on the main multiplayer landing page.
The dedicated Shipment 24/7 playlist is back, replacing Shoot House 24/7. However, this particular playlist only works for 5v5, not the typical 6v6. This may be why Infinity Ward is trying to mitigate the effects of the terrible creatures in Shipment, as larger creature logic adjustments may take some time.
Eventually, Gun Game returned, replacing Grind in a dedicated playlist.
Later this week, we look forward to the new Modern War update. Multi-person co-design director Joe Cecot said it brought a lot of fixes and should be launched sometime this week.
Our next major update should include all fixes. We will start pushing this update this week. I don't have an exact date. Sorry.
