Like many other companies in the industry, Capcom has also presented business figures for the past fiscal year and also provides insights into future plans. Several important titles are due to appear in this fiscal year.
In the presentation of the business figures, Capcom addressed the expectations for the new fiscal year – and these are quite high. Reason: You have “several big new titles” in the works that will be released in the new fiscal year. This also runs at Capcom until March 31, 2023, so that the corresponding publications can be expected within the next ten months.
And in this case, too, the question arises: Which titles might it be specifically? It is possible that a game will be pragmata. This was presented at the PS5 Showcase in June 2020 and was once planned for 2022; the release has now slipped to 2023, but could be conceivable for the first quarter of the new calendar year. However, a proper presentation is still pending here as well. The title is set in a dystopian near future and takes place on the moon; Real next-gen technology using ray tracing is to be used.
Another candidate for these “several major titles” is certainly Street Fighter 6, which was announced in a teaser in February. More information about the new Beat’em Up part was promised for this summer.
Incidentally, we can only refer to rumors and they always assumed a possible Resident Evil 4 remake. There has also been speculation about a possible sequel in the form of Dragon’s Dogma 2 in the past, but both titles have not yet been officially confirmed.
