Realme has many assets, but not the names of its many models, which are quite complicated to remember. What we remember, however, is the price of this Realme GT Master Edition, which has already dropped to $229.
A beautiful design and solid performance for this Realme GT smartphone
RealMe doesn’t take many risks with the design, taking that of the classic GT and with that black color that tends a little to brown. Be careful not to rely on what we usually have in this price range, the back of the phone is actually glass. The 6.4-inch screen is big enough, but not huge either, to hold without too much effort. It’s Super Amoled for infinite contrast and has a resolution of 1080p.

On the performance side, it embeds the Snapdragon 778G processor, a very good mid-range for playing many demanding games and navigating quickly between menus and applications. It can get a little hot on the most intense tasks, but it’s bearable.
Where RealMe has made concessions is in the quality of the speakers. We only have a mono system here, which means the sound only comes from below, which gives a fairly low quality and power. No problem, however, if you use headphones or earphones.
What we don’t find in normal times and at this price point is a 120Hz screen, but also adaptive. This means the screen can refresh 120 times per second compared to the usual 60 for excellent fluidity and clarity in animations. It’s also easier to read text while scrolling the screen since there’s less stuttering.
With adaptive technology, this refresh rate can be reduced to save battery in situations when it is not needed when viewing a still image such as a photo or text.
$50 less for the Realme smartphone
Recharging with the 65W charger takes just 40 minutes, for an autonomy that improves a little compared to its big brother GT, since the processor consumes a little less energy.
On the back we have a 64 Mpx wide-angle, an 8 Mpx ultra wide-angle and a 2 Mpx macro lens (for very close photos). The photos are pretty average, even if they are satisfactory during the day. The colors are very (or too) bold, it all depends on your preferences.
We’re not escaping the concessions made on this product, but that’s quite normal at this price point. The benefits we receive are much higher and are initially sold at $279 (price already reduced), the refund offer of $50 on Cdiscount is added, bringing the bill down to $229. It’s almost stealing.
