The Chromecast dongle allows you to stream content from your mobile phone to your TV, making it “smart”. Now you can even use your smartphone as a remote control.
As the YouTube team reports on Twitter, all you have to do is open the YouTube app on your smartphone and tap the screen with the “WLAN symbol” at the top next to the bell. Select your Chromecast and then tap on “Remote Control”.
You will then see a D-Pad with four arrow keys, a button in the middle and the option to use voice commands on the mobile phone display.
