With Diablo Immortal, Blizzard Entertainment has been working on a mobile spin-off of the successful franchise for a long time. Now the good piece is starting another alpha test phase – including a new playable class.
The first alpha test phase of the mobile offshoot Diablo Immortal was already carried out at the end of last year, which focused on the early leveling up. Since then, the Android and iOS title has been largely quiet, but now it will return with the next Closed Alpha.
So on yesterday, April 21st, Blizzard gave the go-ahead for another such test phase, which brings all kinds of new features to the later full version. Among other things, another character class was made accessible with the Crusader. In addition, players can participate in large 48-player raids as well as PvP battles. In this respect, the endgame finally plays a bigger role in the new alpha.
Disadvantage of the story: This further alpha test phase is initially only accessible to a few players. The developers limit this to a few thousand participants in Australia, who can only play on Android. Only those who meet these requirements can register for this test on the official website.
Diablo Immortal should appear for iOS and Android in 2021, but there is no specific release date yet. In the current alpha, five classes are now playable with crusader, magician, barbarian, demon hunter and monk; later the Necromancer will follow.
