Time flies so quickly: Diablo Immortal, which was particularly controversial at the beginning, has meanwhile turned one year old – and Bizzard Entertainment is of course duly celebrating this anniversary.
So Blizzard continues the journey in Sanctuary with new updates and content in Diablo Immortal. A new zone awaits you with its own quest line, higher infernal difficulty levels, a new skill for each class, an open world PvP event, new side quests and more.
The new zone is the Cradle of the Ancients, a mystical island inhabited by hermit humans. As early as June 15, you will open the next chapter of the main quest line there, with new side tasks, bounties and enemy types. And the mentioned higher levels of Hell will really put you to the test!
When it comes to weapons, you can now equip two sets at the same time. With those two additional primary gear slots, there are then eight total. Each set of weapons has its own main hand and off hand, offering more options in combat. Each class also gains an additional skill that unlocks at level 53 and is useful for groups or to fill specific niches to round out each class’s skill set.
There are six new Reliquary bosses and a new game mode called Reliquary Storm in Hell’s Reliquary. Here you will face the bosses in the same instance. As you continue to progress through the Infernal difficulty levels, more bosses will be unlocked to fight for exclusive cosmetic rewards.
Finally, there is the PvP event “Conqueror”. An ancient fighting pit where the Fahiri aristocrats used to stage brutal games has been discovered in Shassar. For a limited time, you can participate in the event there and earn legendary rewards. The event features daily tasks and challenges that can be completed by participating in matches.
A brand new class is also still in the pipeline and will be introduced shortly.
