Year after year, the DICE Awards are among the most prestigious awards in the games industry and will of course be presented again in 2023. Now the nominees for this year’s edition have been chosen – and both the Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarök are already in good standing.
While Elden Ring has now secured the title of most Game of the Year award of all time, it still extends its lead in this category. For the 26th edition of the DICE Awards this year, the action epic by From Software has now received several nominations, including in the king category.
The duel from last year continues seamlessly, because God of War Ragnarök is represented almost everywhere and has chances of several victories in the various categories. In fact, God of War Ragnarök is the number one nominee with 12.
The DICE Awards are presented by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS); this year’s event is scheduled to take place on February 23, 2023.
