Program manager Already announced Dirt 5 Will get a major update this week, it will add cross-platform matchmaking and Red Bull-themed content to the game.
The latest racing title update provides fresh content and new features for everyone for free. Its main feature is the introduction of cross-platform pairing for Xbox, PlayStation and PC players (Google Stadia was folded into the pairing pool).
According to the developers, the cross-platform matchmaking represents another “critical community request” added to the game and allows all public halls to connect players on different platforms together, thereby further promoting online activities when you jump into the game . After the patch is released, you may not have a hard time finding matches.
The studio clarified: “If you want to compete with a group of players, all team members must enable cross-platform competitions to ensure that they can compete with racers on other platforms.”
Elsewhere in the game, Codies has added a set of Red Bull content-so the Red Bull Revolution title has been updated.
Eight new wineries have been added, featuring the iconic colors and symbols of the energy drink brand. You can find an Audi S1 EKS RX quattro, an X-raid MINI John Cooper Work Buggy, a Peugeot 3008 DKR Maxi, a Volkswagen Touareg 3, a Porsche 911 RGT, and a Peugeot 208 WRX each with three-including three by International Automobile Designed by Timmy and Kevin Hansen of the United World Rally Championship.
Playgrounds also received a pretty strong update in Dirt 5, adding the Red Bull Arch as an item you can install into the course, and making the locations in Arizona, South Africa, and Italy wet and rainy with enhanced weather options.
Ghost circle time will also appear in this new update.
“Dust 5” is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Stadia and PC. It can also be downloaded via Xbox Game Pass. You can check our “Dirt 5” review on the link.
