Curiosity. That is what will lead you to look how much money have you spent on steam despite not being the best idea of all. And it can be done because Valve offers a tool on its platform that throws the figure in our faces without hesitation. You just have to enter here with your Steam data. Have I already said that it’s still a bad idea (but you’re going to do it anyway)?
There are a few things to keep in mind. This tool only offers the total number (in dollars) of your expenses made directly on Steam, either in games or in funds added to the portfolio. That is to say: it does not take into account the value of the games that have been redeemed. If you have received a code as a gift, or in a pack, or have purchased keys outside of Steam, such as those offered by Humble Bundlethe system does not take it into account and does not add those amounts.
In any case, I am sure that more than one of them will open their eyes wide. It’s one thing to be aware of the number of games and content you’ve purchased on Steam over months or years, but another to see the total amount paid. Not to mention that everything spent on keys purchased outside of Steam would have to be added. We are not responsible for the scares that you can take when you see these figures.
Note: in case you are interested in the data, my total figure is $51.35. I’ve never been one to play much on PC. Now, talking to my colleagues, they are giving me very crazy amounts that I am not going to disclose (they will do so in the comments if they feel like it) and that have surprised me.
