Game news E3 2021: Eiyuden Chronicles Hundred Heroes postponed, a spin-off has to wait
After a successful Kickstarter, Rabbit & Bear Studios was able to fully start the development of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, the spiritual heir of the mythical Suikoden, and was created by the former game developers
Expected to be in 2022, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will be delayed longer than expected. Unfortunately, the developers informed us during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase conference announced the title had been postponed to 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. We were still entitled to new pictures of the game, but also and above all to a big announcement. To help players wait, Rabbit & Bear Studios Eiyuden announced Chronicle Rising, a spin-off that will be released next year on the same platforms. The title already has a Steam file on which we read the pitch:
Eiyuden Chronicle Rising is an action RPG set in the same world as Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Build your city, discover a dynamic combat system as well as the backgrounds of several characters in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
Designed in 2.5D, Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes will take the form of an RPG in which it will be possible to recruit up to 100 characters, but also to build and develop large fortresses. The battles take place one after the other and you have to choose six characters to go to war.
