Enshrouded, which comes from Germany, got off to a good start – and the makers now want to build on this good start. How this should succeed has now been made clear using a roadmap for the rest of 2024.
The German developers at Keen Games today commented on how the co-op survival action role-playing game Enshrouded will be further expanded later in 2024. It starts in the current month of March, for which the first major content update is planned after the game’s successful launch in Early Access.
The detailed roadmap, which you can see in the graphic above, shows the most important updates that the development team wants to implement by the end of the year, although they reserve the right to change over time. According to the creators, the features and content presented were chosen to reflect the team’s overall vision, with a significant influence from the feature upvote system, where the community could suggest their most desired additions and then vote on them.
Accordingly, most updates come from the Feature upvote platform
Additional biomes and water are also planned. However, the final game version 1.0 will not be released on Steam, other platforms and consoles until next year 2025. The order in which the content shown on the graphic will be published is still open and will be announced gradually. The first update mentioned in March will be presented soon and will include larger dungeons.
If you haven’t joined yet, you can get the early access version of Enshrouded at a reduced price as part of the Steam Spring Sales from March 14th to 21st.
