Capcom Outlining a bunch of upcoming releases Exoplasmaa new mode will be launched in the game next week.
As shared in an update post on Steam, a new PvE mode called Savage Gauntlet will launch on July 28th. This new mode differs from Dinosaur Survival and is “designed to put experienced Exofighter teams of 5 to the test in special weekly rotating missions”. The point is that you and your teammates take down the dinosaurs without worrying about any rival Exofighters or rulers. While you play it just for fun, it has leaderboards, so you can also make it more competitive if you want. It should be noted that this will be a “difficult endgame experience to reflect this,” which you’ll only unlock after beating the game’s story.

The post also shared a roadmap for three upcoming title updates and two collaborations, the first of which will be released on August 16. The first update will add 10 new Alpha Variant exoskeleton suits, one for each current suit. Each of them has “new playstyles, weapons, abilities, and appearances,” so you’ll be able to mix up your strategy a bit when they drop.
Both the new mode and the first title update are part of the game’s first season, but the roadmap also previews the seasons to come. As part of Season 2, a second title update will be released, featuring a new map called “Ocean Platform,” as well as new gear, modules, and a new final mission. The Street Fighter VI collaboration will also end sometime in season two.
In season three, a third title update will drop, adding beta exosuits and a new triceratops. This season will also add a second collaboration, this time with Monster Hunter. The roadmap also previews a fourth season, but doesn’t reveal anything that might be included.
Exoprimal launched last week, and our Connor gave it a 3/5 in his review, writing, “For most players, Exoprimal will be a rollercoaster of surprises. In my opinion, the 50 or so games it takes to earn points and experience all the wonders this game has to offer are worth it for Game Pass subscribers, and maybe a discount for everyone else.”
