Ubisoft is currently making quite a splash. In addition to the spring sale, there is now a weekend where you can play Far Cry 6 for free, garnished with a crossover with the Netflix series Stranger Things.
Things are happening at Ubisoft. Let’s start with the first piece of good news: from March 24th to 27th, Ubisoft is hosting a Far Cry 6 Free Weekend. That means you can play the game on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC via Epic Games Download Store and Ubisoft Store for free and play during the period. The preload is possible from today at least on Playstation and PC, so you don’t have to waste time downloading.
The next piece of good news: the game is currently available in the spring sale with huge discounts. So if you enjoy your free weekend, you can not only get hold of the game much cheaper, but your progress will also be transferred. Depending on the platform and edition, discounts of up to 50 percent are announced, and the DLCs or the Season Pass are also discounted.
And since all good things come in threes, a brand new mission is coming to Far Cry 6 starting March 24th, which is free to all players. The mission is called The Vanishing and is a crossover with the popular Netflix mystery series Stranger Things. In it, you’ll experience a twisted version of the island of Yara being subjected to mysterious dangers that are causing Yarans and even wheelchair-bound dachshund Chorizo to disappear. You’ll experience some locations inspired by Stranger Things, including a hidden bunker and an abandoned laboratory.
