22 days after the publication of FIFA 22, EA now draws an interim conclusion of a different kind. Translated, that means: You are presenting all sorts of interesting statistics about the football blockbuster!
Electronic Arts proudly announced today that FIFA 22 has now been played in 228 countries around the world. Believe it or not, an average of 89 million games are completed every day. In Germany alone 6.5 billion (!) Minutes have been spent on the title and more than 650 million goals have been scored.
The title has over 100 stadiums, more than 30 leagues, 17,000 licensed players and over 700 teams – but creating your own clubs is extremely popular in career mode. More than 3.1 million individual clubs have been created, with more than 1.8 million gamers cavorting in this mode. The most popular transfers include the young Dortmund stars Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham.
In Pro Clubs mode, 58 million games were played and more than 271,000 female avatars were created. Volta Football has more than 1.2 million avatars and more than 21 million games played. In the end, more than 8.5 million fans have taken part in the arcade party games.
David Jackson, VP Brand at EA Sports FIFA, is delighted with the performance of this year’s offshoot so far: “The growth of our global soccer platforms is proceeding at an unbelievable rate and our fantastic community is committed at a level that is second to none. We are delighted We look forward to continuing that dynamic with the engaging soccer game experiences available to fans around the world. We are privileged to have the most authentic interactive experience with hundreds of licensing partners including the Premier League, Bundesliga, LaLiga Santander, UEFA and CONMEBOL To create a football platform. This enables over 150 million fans worldwide to connect intensively with their favorite leagues, favorite clubs and favorite professionals. “
How things go with FIFA is still interesting to watch. It is possible that the game will no longer be called FIFA in the future because EA does not seem to agree on the financial framework with the world association.
