When fans are asked what their favorite killer is, Ezio Auditore very often comes out on top. The AC hero could be back soon, likely in Assassin’s Creed Infinity.
Fifteen years after its birth, Assassin’s Creed could see a second wind with a new game-service-centric formula. According to several reputable sources, AC Infinity will offer multiple worlds and this could also sign the return of an emblematic character of the license.
Ezio in Assassin’s Creed Infinity?
Will El Mentore be back soon? Adored by most fans, Ezio Auditore is one of the pre-eminent assassins of the license. After three dedicated games and a short film, whoever is considered by many to be the franchise’s finest hero could return in Assassin’s Creed Infinity. Roger Craig Smith, interpreter of Ezio, was actually spotted outside the premises of Ubisoft Montreal, the series’ main studio. Obviously all fans are wondering if this will mean the return of the Italian assassin or not.
While this is just speculation at the moment, there have been credible rumors that some old heroes and characters from previous games may be making a return in Assassin’s Creed Infinity. It is therefore not excluded that players will again be able to embody Ezio in a new world or perhaps in the famous multiplayer part of the game service. All hopes are justified, although the actor’s presence in the studio may also affect Assassin’s Creed Nexus. The VR experience should also include the license’s most emblematic heroes. The case will therefore follow, but we should have the first elements of the reaction during the Ubisoft Forward on September 10th.
