The perennial Fortnite is regularly and regularly given new cross-over campaigns with other major entertainment brands, even at very short intervals. After an announcement about Obi-Wan Kenobi on the occasion of the launch of the new series on Disney +, this time a real retro brand is being considered.
While a lot of the actions in Fortnite recently revolved around more current heroes and brands such as Kratos, Master Chief, Street Fighter V, Star Wars and more, Epic Games is now dedicating itself to a really old game series in a new cooperation. The cult classic Pac-Man will land on the island in the latest crossover.
As confirmed in a blog post on the official Japanese Pac-Man website, a corresponding action between Fortnite and Pac-Man is scheduled to start on June 2, 2022. From then on, for a period of time, you will be able to purchase items based on the Pac-Man token in the Fortnite Item Shop.
Epic Games itself has not yet commented on the new promo, so further details are still pending. In view of the fact that June 2nd is already quite close, such an announcement should not be long in coming. Exception: The announcement of the date on the Pac-Man website was initially subject to change, so there could also be a kind of last-minute delay. We will of course keep you up to date on this.
Fortnite is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, Android, Xbox Cloud Gaming and PC and can be played for free.
