In the past, Fortnite has received numerous cross-over events with other major entertainment brands. Next up could be "Birds of Prey".

Fortnite's first season: Chapter 2 was recently extended until later in February, and in return Epic Games had promised new in-game events and promotions up to that point. This should have explicitly meant a new cross-over event, even though the official announcement is currently pending.
That this is the case, however, has now been accompanied by a very clear conversation between the official accounts of Warner Bros. and Fortnite Twitter close, which indicates such a crossover quite clearly.
After a tweet from Warner Bros., in which a video and film cast of "Birds of Prey" was presented, the Fortnite account simply replied "See you soon Harley!". Warner Bros. replied with a "Can't wait" with a kiss emoji.

What can Warner Bros. not expect? Probably the mentioned cross-over event, which could not fit better in terms of timing. Finally, on February 7th, "Birds of Prey: The Emancipation of Harley Quinn", the next part of the superhero series will be released.
In the past there were already cross-over events with other greats like Batman, Borderlands 3, Stranger Things or Star Wars. The official announcement in this case is – as mentioned – still pending, but should probably be done in a timely manner.
