Should we see a febrile response following the thunderous announcement of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2? The fact remains that the Easy Day studio did not seem to have known that easy days, since the release of the challenger Skater XL is now somewhat postponed.
The newcomer to the skateboarding world who hopes to synthesize the Skate and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series promised us grind and trick for July 7, but the last post of the studio published on Instagram announces a postponement of the release of Skater XL, now fixed for July 28 :
Version 1.0 will be released on July 28, a few weeks later than the original date. Despite our efforts, and due to events that do not depend on us, we are delaying the physical and digital launch of SkaterXL 1.0 on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. We will also be announcing a new date for the Switch version in the coming weeks.
In order to be forgiven, the studio has conceded four (very) short videos starring the eponym Easy Day High School, even though Alice Cooper had promised us her final end, COVID-19 or not …
