The developer miHoYo has unveiled the PS5 version of its famous open-world action RPG title Genshin Impact. Specifically, it’s a video of an interview with the developers that tells us more about the action RPG game due to see the light of day at the end of the month.

The PlayStation 5 version is available from April 28, 2021
Genshin Impact is therefore an open world action RPG game that is free to download and will take you to Teyvat. You play as a traveler from another world looking for his family. Currently, players can explore Moon City and Liyue, two of Teyvat’s seven capitals. “Each of them has its own cultural atmosphere, history and vast territory with different kinds of creatures, enemies, secrets and hidden treasures.”

That’s not all, as miHoYo has also confirmed that new features have been designed specifically for the PlayStation 5, particularly with a huge overhaul for the DualSense controller Zhenzhong Yi, technical director of the game:
We have worked on developing various features to make the most of this next-gen console’s potential over the long term. This should give us plenty of headroom for future updates to further improve the game’s visual quality and performance. We are only at the beginning!
Genshin Impact is available as a free download for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (starting April 28) from the PlayStation Store.
