Anyone who has ever ventured into GTA 5 online mode has probably already encountered a hacker or cheater: Players who don't think much of fairness and spoil the game experience with other GTA Online fans with God Mode or other annoying tricks.
That's why it's all the nicer when the decent players of Grand Theft Auto's multiplayer parts find 5 ways to defend themselves against these hackers and cheaters – using completely legal means.
$ 400,000 in-game to annoy hackers
Reddit user shayankurdboy posted a video in which he shows how to deal with a God-Mode-Cheater, should it run into one in GTA Online. All you need is that Up-N atomizer … which is admittedly quite expensive.
The Up-N Atomizer is priced at nearly $ 400,000 in-game more expensive than some luxury bodies in GTA Online. If you look at what this futuristic-looking weapon can do to hackers, it might be worth every penny.
In the video, shayankurboy shows that the Up-N-Atomizer does not kill the hacker, nor throws the hacker's game figure out of the server, but it should make him really white-hot behind the screen: Hit by the Up-N-Atomizer's shots, the cheater is whirled wildly through the air and does not manage to get back on its feet under the constant fire.
His God Mode, which protects him from being harmed, is of little use to him in this situation. The Up-N atomizer does relatively little damage compared to other explosive weapons, but does a completely different function: The energy impulses are much more likely to push players or vehicles through the areainstead of hurting or destroying them.
