Unfortunately, it is now normal that new games keep stumbling over a bug. You can only warn and wait for a bug fix. This is also the case with Halo Infinite on the Xbox Series X / S.
Already busy working on the Halo Infinite campaign or planning for the weekend? Good. What is less good is that there is apparently a bug in the game that the developers themselves warn of via Twitter. The bug is related to the console’s quick resume feature.
PSA: When playing #HaloInfinite campaign you will come across armor lockers that contain cosmetics for your MP Spartan. If you are offline, or disconnected from services – which can occur after Quick Resume – the cosmetics won’t show up in your MP inventory. (1/2)

Accordingly, you should avoid using this quick resume during the campaign. The reason: During the Quick Resume, the connection to the Halo servers is interrupted. This may result in multiplayer cosmetic items that you earned during the campaign not being saved on your player profile.
The problem is already in the works at 343 Industries. The developers are currently looking for a solution to make lost rewards accessible again. Until a corresponding bug fix has been published, you should leave the Quick Resume at Halo Infinite until further notice.
