Exciting personnel change: Halo Infinite’s senior multiplayer designer, Patrick Wren, is leaving 343 Industries and moving to Respawn Entertainmant for a Star Wars game.
Wren announced the change on Twitter. He is now part of the Jedi team at Respawn Entertainment, where he works as Senior Encounter Designer on a previously unannounced Star Wars project. Wren has previous experience with Star Wars – he worked on the discontinued title Star Wars: First Assault from 2012 to 2013. Wren most recently worked at 343 Industries on Halo 5: Guardians and Halo Infinite.
Based on the t-shirt that Wren wears in his tweet, he could very well be working on a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which has been rumored about for some time, which would not be surprising. The first part has already sold over ten million times. Official announcements from EA are not expected at the moment. EA had already made it clear a few weeks ago that any Star Wars announcements would not be due until 2022.
