343 Industries provides upcoming roadmap Halo Infinite.
According to the studio, it wants to get the Forge toolset to you “as soon as possible,” so to that end, the Forge public beta is targeting late Season 2 — or sometime in September.
“We’ve been successfully flying Forge privately with limited audiences for some time now, so we’ve decided to forego a large-scale official flight plan and go straight to public beta,” the studio said.
“With this approach, we can make core Forge tools available to everyone faster, while continuing to focus on our core priority of continuing to improve the fundamental aspects of Halo Infinite. Forge will begin in public beta and over time The passage of time continues to develop and develop.
With Season 2 kicking off next month, 343 says you can expect it to last longer than usual, and plans to start Season 3 in November. The extended season will allow 343 to fully address “quality of life” improvements based on the Season 1 experience and other data and feedback collected. These improvements include bug fixes, new features and/or content to address issues that negatively impact the experience.
Quality of life updates are expected to drop each month and vary in scope and size.
For those still waiting for campaign collaboration, it’s scheduled to be released sometime in late August, according to the roadmap. You can check out the roadmap below.
Halo Infinite Season 2 kicks off on May 3, and you can look forward to three modes as well as variants featuring returning favorites and new content from Halo.
