Maybe you’ve already seen it online or from one or the other streamer you trust: Who in Sons of the Forest If you want to survive, you have to be inventive. And those who have previously had problems hunting can fall back on a Scottish tradition and sport: throwing logs. Depending on the situation, they are sometimes more effective than conventional methods such as bows or axes.
Reddit user FrostX3 shows you exactly how this works in the following clip:

Of course, for the log toss you need to have drunk some target water and have a feel for your range. But the good thing is: the tree trunks roll a little further after the impact and take one or two ducks with them into the afterlife.
Also advantageous: you don’t have to run after the animals individually, but can directly hunt several animals at once. Above all, this saves time and nerves. Provided that the animals are all in a heap, as in the video above. Alternatively, you have to swing back to the second throw. But that’s not a problem either, as you can see in the clip above.
Incidentally, the whole thing also works with squirrels and rabbits or other small animals. Your chances of success with larger calibers such as deer or even cannibals have not yet been tested. However, you should be careful not to hit your friends or even yourself with it. A tree trunk isn’t good for the head.
However, if you try the method, we look forward to hearing about your experiences in the comments.
