Cyberpunk 2077 Infamous’ launch was terrible, but some recent positive reviews have put the game in a better position.
As of this writing, recent review ratings for Cyberpunk 2077 are “overwhelmingly positive.” For those who don’t know, this means that at least 95% of the latest 7,000 reviews in the past 30 days are positive, a difficult feat to achieve for most Steam games as players sometimes Would…well, if you know what I mean. All reviews for Cyberpunk are still at a “very positive” level, but with over 650,000 reviews, it may take a little longer to resolve the issue. Unsurprisingly, this means a lot to CD Projekt Red’s Global Community Director Marcin Momot and Associate Game Director Pawe. Sasco.

On Twitter, Momot shared a screenshot of the game’s recent 95% positive rating, expressing his sincere gratitude to players for their achievements. Sasko was quoted in Momote’s tweet, saying: “You can’t imagine how much this means to me. I have never been close to giving up and have always believed that this was somehow Possible, but never thought I would actually see it. Thank you so much for waiting for the second chance.”

I’m sure many of you will remember that the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 was quite disastrous. It was so buggy that it was removed from the PlayStation Store on PS4. CD Projekt has since managed to turn the game around with regular updates, including a full 2.0 version that overhauled some of the game’s systems. Beyond this update and the critically acclaimed Phantom Liberty DLC, Alex even says the game has been elevated to must-play classic status, although your own opinion may differ. Cyberpunk may still have some critical reception to do before it reaches completely overwhelmingly positive reviews, but it’s certainly not what it once was.
