Kingdom Come 2's release date has been moved up a bit, which means it'll technically be delayed and brought forward at the same time

The release date of Kingdom Come 2 has been pushed back again, this time to February 4, 2025, a week earlier than previously expected.

Back in August, this game about being a medieval lad on a horse – if my experience with the first game still holds up – is a bit like swinging a sword and being killed in a way that actually kills enemies. Postponed to February 11, 2025. Now, though, it's arrived earlier than its delayed date, technically making it both late and early — an impressive feat.

This was revealed via a tweet and accompanying video from Warhorse Studios, with the studio's global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling providing some information beyond the date change, which he concluded “is what it is,” including the fact that A new story trailer for the game will be released today (December 5).

“KCD2 is also now gold,” Stolz-Zwilling continued, “and what does that mean?
