The LEGO Super Mario Set will be revealed earlier this week, and we will see more Nintendo consoles in the future.
Digital Design Leader Jonathan Bennink said in a speech to Brother Brick Lego Super Mario The setup has been developed for four years, but negotiations began one year before development.
Although Benneck could not disclose specific details, he did state that the company had not cooperated with Nintendo for four years, just to "release a wave of products" (thanks to Nintendo Everything).
"We want a long and fruitful relationship with Nintendo and its IP, and we look forward to working with them for a long time," he said. "They have a lot of very exciting IPs, and we may or may not do it."
This also includes the possibility of the upcoming LEGO Super Mario series and other Mario grades, but again, Benneck cannot comment on the future.
"The (show) video shows a range of equipment in our product plans that will be launched in the near future, such as Bowser, Jr., rotating platforms, and lifting areas. At the moment, I have nothing to say."
As you may notice at launch, this is not a traditional product, but a new interactive product line where Mario collects coins in real game levels created by LEGO bricks.
The release date of the LEGO Super Mario has not been provided, but the kit can be expected to drop sometime this year.
