Ever wanted to see a Naruto and Ninja Turtles crossover? You’re in luck, because it’s happening!
If there’s one thing I know about Naruto and the Ninja Turtles, it’s that they’re both ninjas. I mean, that’s kind of what they both have in common, Naruto wants to be the best, and the Ninja Turtles… just want to be ninjas, I guess! So it feels like a crossover was always destined to happen, but somehow it just hasn’t happened until now. Comics publishers IDW and Viz Media jointly announced this week that the five ninjas will come together as part of a four-issue series, drawn by Hendry Prasetya (Power Rangers), colored by Raúl Angulo (NYX), lettered by Ed Dukeshire (Forest), and written by Caleb Goellner (Sonic the Hedgehog). Prasetya and Jorge Jiménez (Batman) co-created the cover art for the first issue.

Here’s the official description for the first issue: It’s the coolest ninja showdown you’ve ever dreamed of, if you dare! The hero in a half shell meets the master of the nine-tailed fox in this crossover everyone will be talking about.
“When teenage reporter April O’Neil secretly meets with Konohagakure leader Tsunade, she catches the attention of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi. However, they’re not the only ones wondering what the two women are discussing. The evil Foot Clan is intrigued by April’s visit, as they believe she may hold valuable information about mutation research being conducted by scientist Baxter Stockman. April is caught between the forces of Konohagakure and the Foot Clan, and it won’t be long before the Ninja Turtles show up to lend her a hand!”

The first issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto (which doesn’t really make sense) will be released later this year on November 13th.
