Loki: Is it Miss Minutes to blame for everything? We explain the fan theory

Is the time authority TVA controlled by a clock? Fans are sure that Miss Minutes from the Disney + series “Loki” is the real villain in history.

In the 4th episode of “Loki” on Disney+ it went haywire. Mobius and Loki were trimmed, the timekeepers turned out to be androids and Renslayer showed her true colors

. Episode 5 now not only has to tell more about the new Loki variants that were introduced in the credits scene, but also reveal who the real villain of the series is.

The TVA is not, after all, the showcase organization it was sold as in Episode 1. As variants with erased memory, the agents of the TVA are not responsible for their actions, so you can’t be angry with Mobius, while Renslayer obviously knew more about the true plans of the TVA.

But Renslayer is probably not the main villain in the story either. After the timekeepers turned out to be fakes, many names were thrown into the room on the Internet that could act as secret pullers. This also included Miss Minutes, the TVA’s mascot.

A little cartoon clock as the villain? What sounds silly at first, could ultimately be a good choice, after all, very few viewers suspect Miss Minutes. In addition, would someone like Kang the Conqueror

In episode 2 we already learned that Miss Minutes can not only exist in the TVA educational film, but also as an independent hologram and communicate with Loki. So we are dealing here with an artificial intelligence, the harmless appearance of which was chosen purely on the basis of calculation.

One theory on the Internet says that the time keepers once really existed, but are now dead and only left Miss Minutes, who then got support from variants. Even the Minutemen would mistake Miss Minutes for a mascot and continue to regard the timekeepers as heads of the TVA.

In addition, fans compare this twist with “The Wizard of Oz”. Here the great and powerful wizard was only an illusion, just like the timekeepers, while an ordinary man hid behind a curtain who used the wizard’s illusion to his advantage.

Maybe Miss Minutes is hiding behind this curtain or she is an avatar of the real puller herself. In that case, however, the question of the villain would remain unresolved.
