This is due to a long post on the PlayStation blog that the developers wanted to review the changes to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition that we reported to you a few weeks ago. All parts of the trilogy are involved, but the first one approaching 14 has received more attention.
Combat et Gameplay for Mass Effect
For the fights, we are even entitled to an exact listing, which enables us to understand that Mass Effect version 2021 will be closer to its successors:
- Shepard can now flee from an ongoing fight
- Body-to-body attacks can now be performed using a dedicated button and are no longer triggered based on proximity to an enemy.
- The accuracy and maneuverability of weapons has been dramatically improved
+ Better crosshair control
+ Snipers are more stable
+ The viewfinder camera has been improved
+ The supported goal is improved
- All relevant opponents from the first game can now be given a headshot
Some enemies used to be immune to it, including Humanodes.
- Ammo modes (anti-bio, anti-synthetic, etc.) can be viewed during the game.
+ Previously, this ammunition no longer appears above a certain level.
+ They can now be bought from retailers.
- All weapons can be used by any class without penalty
+ Specializations (possibility to train / improve certain weapons) always depend on the classes.
- Guns cool much faster
- The use of Medi-Gel has been improved
+ Reduced basic cooldown
+ Increased benefits when climbing
+ Liara cooldown increases the bonus
- Inventory management improvements
+ Items can now be classified as junk
+ All junk items can be converted to omni-gel or sold to retailers
+ Inventory and stores have sorting functions
- Some skills have been rebalanced
- The weapon powers (power unlocked on weapon skill trees) have been improved
+ The efficiency / performance is increased (in some cases shorter duration)
+ The heating display is reset as soon as the power supply is active
It also explains that like in Mass Effect 2 and 3, teammates can be independently assigned commands that coverage has been changed and that experience points have been rebalanced with no cap set in the first game. Some enemies must have been hit with polish as well. For example, the Noveria boss will be flying into a room that has been slightly redesigned so we don’t feel so cramped.
Regarding the Mako, a very painful terrestrial reconnaissance vehicle, we are told that the maneuverability, physics, and camera will finally make the pilot likable, jump the XP penalties, and charge the shields faster.
All compilations in the hair
The course of the changes also includes a zoom on the creation of his Shepard: skin tones and unwanted hairstyles invite themselves to the party. There are also new home screens for each of the games, updated trophies, some across the entire trilogy, good luck Joniwan, remix audio rendering, and most importantly, hundreds of bug fixes.
All you have to do is try everything From May 14th, the date of the release of the Mass Effect Legendary Edition for PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One in our universe.
