There is movement in the RTS genre again. Now the WWII strategy game Men of War by Best Way is getting a successor and it is supposed to continue old virtues.
Men of War II has been officially announced. The sequel to the real-time strategy game Men of War is due to be released in 2022, for PC and via Steam. Men of War II is said to have story campaigns on the Eastern and Western Fronts. In it you can choose to play on the side of the Allies or the Soviets. The campaigns can be completed solo or cooperatively with up to five players.
The earlier direct control system of the game is to be expanded in the sequel into a direct vision system, which among other things offers you the possibility to focus on individual units and to carry out upgrades, changes or repairs almost on the fly. A front line system should also be included so that you can bring areas under control and fix them.
An online multiplayer should also be included. In it you can compete against each other on the side of the Allies, Soviets and Germans on skirmish and challenge maps or alternatively together against AI opponents. The game should also offer full mod support.
1C and Best Way continue the real-time strategy game Men of War with a second part.
