NBA 2K23: Suitable for the home EM: Official DBB jersey in the game

The basketball home championship is currently taking place in Germany – and in line with this there is now also positive news with regard to the new NBA 2K23.

The national team of the German Basketball Federation DBB recently got off to an excellent start in the European Championships at home and is about to trigger a certain amount of euphoria about the sport. Another announcement from the gaming area is of course appropriate.

The new NBA 2K23 will be available from September 9th; the genre leader picks up on that national team for the first time. As has now been announced, thanks to a cooperation with the DBB, the official jersey and shorts will be available for both home and away games in NBA 2K23 for the first time.

You will therefore be able to throw yourself into the red and white outfits of the German national team; these are available in the sub-areas MyPLAYER in The City or on the GOAT Boat. The City is only included in the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, while the GOAT Boat is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch.

The DBB, in the person of President Ingo Weiss, says with regard to the new cooperation: “With this cooperation, the German Basketball Association is taking another step into the world of basketball video games. After the formation of a national team and the extremely successful participation in the FIBA ​​tournaments, It’s a big deal to bring our national team’s official jerseys into NBA 2K23.
