Sid Meier’s Civilization VI will receive the next May 21th the Pass New Borders which will add eight new civilizations, nine leaders, six game modes and a wide variety of content. However, all this will not be available from the first day. Firaxis Games will launch a new pack every two months. The last pack will be released in March 2021.
The New Frontiers pass is coming to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Depending on the pack, expansions are required, Gathering Storm (), Gathering Storm or Rise and Fall () and Rise and Fall (
Maya & Gran Colombia Pack (May 2020)
Add two new civilizations and leaders, a game mode (*), a city / state and more resources.
Ethiopia Pack (July CE 2020)
Add a new civilization and a leader, a game mode (**), a district and two new buildings.
Pack 3 (September 2020)
Add two new civilizations and leaders, a game mode (**), a map and new wonders of the world.
Pack 4 (November 2020)
Add a new civilization and leader, a new game mode (**), a new city / state and new Great Characters.
Pack 5 (January 2021)
Add a new civilization and two leaders (***), a game mode, a district, and two buildings.
Pack 6 (March 2021)
Add a new civilization and leader, a game mode, a map, and new wonders of the world.
