On the occasion of the Direct conference, Nintendo also expanded the range of games on Nintendo Switch Online again – this time with five classics from Rare. We’ll tell you here which retro hits you can now play on the Switch.
Nintendo used the stage at the first Direct conference of the year to confirm the next five classics, which can now be played via the online service Nintendo Switch Online as part of the subscription. Four titles are available to all subscribers, but the fifth game is reserved for those who choose the more expensive level of the expansion pack.
All five new titles come from the cult developers Rare and are sure to make the hearts of fans of this studio beat faster. RC Pro-Am, Snake Rattle ‘n’ Roll, Killer Instinct and Battletoads in Battlemaniacs are available to all subscribers. Blast Corps, however, is only available via the expansion pack. Exclusively in Japan, a sixth title, Mother 3, joins the new line-up, which reads in a clearer form as follows:
- Battletoads in Battlemaniacs (SNES)
- Blast Corps (N64)
- Killer Instinct (SNES)
- Mother 3 (GBA) – nur in Japan
- R.C. Pro-Am (NES)
- Snake Rattle ‘n’ Roll (NES)
