No Man’s Sky: The Interceptor is the latest update to the vast space exploration game. Not only does it bring corrupted planets, new ships, and more to the game, It’s also launching today!

Starting with the update of the same name, Interceptors are coming to No Man’s Sky, and you can collect them and add them to your spaceship arsenal. You can also get yourself a Sentinel Ship, which is sure to help you on your next interstellar adventure.

What’s the best game to play while waiting for Starfield? Well, you can probably guess one!

You can also pilot a Sentinel battleship! Destroying them will remove your desired level, while also providing some exciting new rewards to earn. Fancy combat at your feet, with new enemies including giant spider-like foes and their tiny crab-like children. You might find them on corrupted planets with strange new biomes, crashed interceptor ships and other secrets.

Additionally, players can now curate their own collection of wonders, bookmarking special chests and spaces that you find. This is a nice feature for those who are still hunting for treasure among the stars. Finally, soem technical improvements! From now on, Xbox users should not only get smoother and more consistent frame rates, but VR will also feel more alive with wrist interface controls, improved visuals, and more.

I love No Man’s Sky, and even more that the team continues to work hard on improving and perfecting their epic space adventure. The interceptor is yet another excuse to jump back in, which I might do! Especially now that we’re in this brief lull before the massive 1 million game launches later this month and over the summer.
