As is well known, E3 was canceled for this year, but that is by no means synonymous with the cancellation of all presentations and events that were otherwise broadcast as part of the fair. The PC Gaming Show, for example, will also take place this year.
For several years, the PC Gaming Show has usually been broadcast as part of the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles and has various presentations and new announcements of upcoming PC titles ready. The format has now established itself and will remain with us this year, although the E3 itself was cancelled.
The organizers have now confirmed that the PC Gaming Show will still be broadcast on Sunday, June 12, 2022 this year. The event is taking place for the eighth year in a row and will once again offer some world premieres for PC gamers as well as numerous trailers and developer interviews.
This year’s host will be Sean “Day” Plott, PC Gamer’s 2010 “Gamer of the Year” award, and will be joined by actress and professional cosplayer Mica Burton.
Last year more than 36 million viewers watched the PC Gaming Show; this year the organizers want to go one better, after all there will be more games than ever before. Over 45 titles have been confirmed for the event, including an unannounced game from 11 bit studios, a new project from Klei Entertainment, an ArmA 4 appearance and new gameplay from the mod project Half-Life: Alyx – Levitation.
Also expected are appearances from Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 by Saber Interactive and first gameplay from the grand strategy title Victoria 3. If you want to be there, you can get up on June 12th from 9:30 p.m Twitch and YouTube turn on.
