It starts early this week. As of today, some titles are already playable for free, and strategy fans in particular can currently enjoy this.

Until April 30th at 7 p.m. you can play XCOM 2 from Firaxis and 2K Games for free on PC and Xbox One. It is the complete game that is available during this period. Any achievements and scores will be maintained if you decide to buy the turn-based tactical game. The same is greatly reduced in price during this time.
Total War: Shogun 2 (PC)

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment offers the PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 for a limited time as a free download on all platforms. The offer is valid from April 24, 2020 until May 10, 2020 at 7 p.m. for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via STEAM.

Ubisoft announced that a free trial for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 for the Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, is now available. The demo allows players to play The Division 2 through Level 8 with a maximum playing time of 8 hours. Players wishing to purchase the game after completing the trial can apply their progress.

Sony is also giving away some games under the motto "Play at home". From April 16 to May 6, 2020 you can download Knack 2 and the atmospherically valuable Journey for free in Germany. As of April 7, PlayStation Plus owners will be able to download the new free games for the current month. With it the great finale of Nathan Drake in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the excellent rally simulation DiRT Rally 2.0.
Google Stadia
Anyone who registers via stadia.com with immediate effect can test Stadia Pro for two months free of charge and thus also get immediate access to nine games included in the Stadia Pro subscription, including GRID, Destiny 2: The Collection and Thumper. Additional titles can be purchased at any time in the store, which players can still access if the Stadia Pro subscription is canceled. All players who are already Stadia Pro subscribers will not be charged for the next two months.
